Why does Faded smell so bad?

Faded gets its smell from Glutathione, an ingredient that is really effective at reducing the appearance of discoloration in weeks. Glutathione has a cysteine chain that causes it to have a sulfur like smell.

How to Use

Faded—Apply a thin, even layer onto cleansed, dry skin before moisturizing. Gently massage into skin until serum has been absorbed. Start 1x a week and slowly work your way up to daily use. Use sun protection during the day, and moisturize well when using.

It works, slowly but surely
I'm really enjoying this product! I purged after starting it, but it's true that slow incorporation is key.
Started Faded 7/18 one night per week, as the last step in my skincare routine (shea butter can clog pores, and I wanted to avoid that). The next week I bumped it up to two times; then three times; now I'm at every night (as per directions to slowly incorporate it into your routine). It caused some bad purging on my cheeks, which is where my worst PIH is, one week after applying, but I think that's because of the azelaic acid.
I had a pretty gnarly dark spot on my chin that's pretty much non-existent now. The redness from my purge started clearing around 7/29. I'm almost at a month and I can definitely notice changes to a huge acne scar I had from a really bad cystic acne breakout on my other cheek. I haven't changed anything else about my routine while using Faded, so I can assume it's because of the serum my scars are fading.
Give this product a try if you can work with a purge. I think it's definitely going to be worth it in the long run.
